The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty – so they can thrive now and into their futures.

About the role

Reporting to the Team Leader Learning for Life and working with a dedicated and passionate team, this pivotal role will manage and deliver one of our most valuable programs - Learning for Life. The role involves planning and implementing The Smith Family suite of Learning for Life programs within the Dandenong community. You will maintain key relationships with a range of stakeholders, including families in the program, partner schools, community groups and volunteers. You will also be responsible for reporting and tracking the progress of the programs, including resources and budgets, contributing to The Smith Family vision.

You will:

• Establish and maintain Partner School relationships and monitor progress, planning, implementation and feedback on programs and activities
• Continually monitor program delivery and ensure the database has accurate and up to date information
• Advocate for and answer enquiries relating to The Smith Family educational programs
• Meet with fellow team members to discuss potential improvements that can be made to the programs
• Build relationships and work with community leaders and organisations to identify partnership opportunities

About you

• Demonstrated experience maintaining strong partnerships and relationship development
• Relevant experience managing and coordinating multiple programs simultaneously
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate data
• A current driver’s license
