The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic, long-term support for their education.

 

About the role

 

We are seeking a Learning Club Coordinator to facilitate our after school Learning Clubs. Reporting to the Learning for Life Team Leader and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:

 

  • Facilitate after school Learning Clubs
  • Ensuring smooth and efficient running of the Learning Club
  • Create engaging Learning Opportunities for students.
  • Support and nurture volunteer relationships.
  • Organise and maintain resources for each learning club session in collaboration with the Program Coordinator.
  • Communicate with key internal and external stakeholders around overall delivery of the program.


About you

 

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following: 

 

  • An engaging facilitation style suited to Primary School children
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Hold a Working with Childrens Check (Tasmanian WWVP Card)
  • Hold an Australian drivers licence
