The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic, long-term support for their education.
About the role
We are seeking a Property Administrator to provide support in managing The Smith Family's leased property portfolio. Reporting to the National Manager, Property and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:
- Manage and timetable day-to-day lease-related activities
- Co-ordinate rental payments and queries
- Assist internal stakeholders with issues surrounding property needs
- Carry out initial property searches and providing recommendations
- Assist the Property Manager and stakeholders with relocation planning
- Research suppliers and contractors to service areas of responsibility
- Further develop and maintain an accurate property register and database
About you
As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:
- Relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience in leasing and property
- Previous experience in an environment administering a wide lease portfolio
- High level of coordination, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Strong understanding of the importance of consultation
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise competing demands with high attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
