About the role


We’re seeking an Infrastructure Architect & Service Delivery Lead to shape and drive the next phase of our cloud and infrastructure environment. This role blends technical leadership with strong vendor and financial accountability  overseeing architecture across Azure, networks, and end-user platforms while ensuring services are secure, reliable and cost-effective.

 

Reporting to the Chief Trust & Security Officer, you will:

 

  • Define infrastructure architecture and technical standards across cloud and hybrid platforms
  • Lead service delivery across key vendors, holding them accountable to SLAs, costs, and outcomes
  • Own end-to-end incident and escalation processes across infrastructure services
  • Manage and optimise organisation-wide infrastructure and cloud spend
  • Drive compliance, disaster recovery readiness, and operational governance
  • Uplift internal capability through mentoring and setting clear delivery expectations

 

It’s a hands-on leadership role for someone who can think strategically but deliver with precision.
 

About You

 

You’re a technically strong infrastructure leader who thrives on making things work — faster, cleaner, and at the right cost You know how to hold vendors to account, engage stakeholders, and take ownership when it counts.  As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

 

  • 5+ years in infrastructure/cloud architecture or service delivery leadership roles (Azure preferred)
  • Strong vendor management skills with a track record of driving performance and cost outcomes
  • A clear approach to managing infrastructure budgets and aligning spend to business value
  • Depth across networks, cloud, identity, and modern end-user technologies
  • Confidence in leading engineers while influencing peers and execs alike
  • Outcome-focused, unafraid to lead from the front, and ready to modernise infrastructure for mission impact
