About the role

 

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Digital Media & Advertising Manager to lead performance activity across paid digital media channels.  This is an opportunity to shape channel strategy, challenge agency thinking and turn data into decisions that improve supporter acquisition, fundraising income and return on investment. You will work across integrated campaigns while helping build a stronger test-and-learn culture within the Digital Campaigns team.

 

Reporting to the National Manager, Digital Campaigns, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Performance media planning (excluding social media advertising) across fundraising and brand campaigns
  • Channel, audience, targeting, bidding and testing strategies
  • Day-to-day management of non-social digital media investment
  • Agency and platform partner briefing, delivery and accountability
  • Campaign optimisation across CPM, CPC, CPA and ROAS
  • Digital dashboards, reporting and actionable performance insights
  • Testing of new media formats, audiences, technology and optimisation approaches
  • Alignment across paid search, programmatic, digital video, native and paid social activity
  • Post-campaign analysis and recommendations that improve future planning
  • Coaching and knowledge-sharing to strengthen digital media capability across the team.

 

 

About you

 

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

 

  • 4 to 5 years’ relevant experience in performance media, ideally within an agency, not for profit or similarly complex environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing multichannel digital media strategies tied to acquisition and income outcomes
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and programmatic platforms
  • Experience managing agencies and suppliers, including challenging recommendations and holding partners accountable for results
  • Experience with Looker Studio, GA4 or comparable dashboard and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving capability
  • The ability to communicate complex performance insights clearly
  • Confident stakeholder management and the ability to influence across functions
  • Curiosity, initiative and a practical test-and-learn mindset.
