The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic, long-term support for their education.
About the role
We are seeking a Supplier Governance & Resilience Analyst to to drive initiatives that fortify operational resilience and strengthen third-party supplier management. Reporting to the Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery Coordinator and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:
- Lead supplier assurance activities: Ensure critical suppliers meet key standards and risks are mitigated
- Support resilience projects: Enhance Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) through testing and implementation
- Be part of critical simulations: Help close action items arising from resilience exercises, such as ransomware simulations
About you
As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:
- Proven ability in project management or as a business analyst
- Expertise in workshop facilitation, problem-solving, and creating documentation (e.g., policies, processes, and plans)
- A background in fields such as Business Management, Project Management, IT, Cyber Security, or related disciplines
- Familiarity with Third-Party Assurance, Business Continuity Planning, or IT Disaster Recovery
