The Smith Family is a children’s education charity that helps young Australians experiencing disadvantage to create better futures for themselves through harnessing the power of education. 

 

We are seeking an experienced Programs Coordinator to join our organisation. Reporting to the Team Leader, Learning for Life and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will work with school and community stakeholders to implement programs from The Smith Family's program suite.  This role offers continuous learning and growth opportunities within a high performing and collaborative team.

 

About our role
 
You will be responsible for:

 

  • Successful implementation and delivery of suite of programs to KPI’s
  • School and Community relationship management
  • Volunteer Management
  • Support for broader smith family program implementation

 

About you

 

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following: 

 

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating programs / projects
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining relevant partnerships
  • Demonstrated capability to manage and plan own work to achieve identified goals within time constraints
  • Flexibility to respond to competing demands
  • Proven experience in strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Holds a current drivers licence and own vehicle
  • Have or willing to obtain an employee Working With Children's Check
